The annual increase in statutory employment payments will take effect from April 2022.

These include:-

  • National minimum wage and national living wage;
  • Employment protection awards;
  • Statutory maternity and paternity pay;
  • Statutory sick pay and end of the SSP covid rebate scheme.

The increase in rates is higher than previous years due to the current Retail Prices Index and recommendations from the Low Pay Unit for the national living and minimum wage.
