Rupa is a Solicitor in our Property department and joined Solomon Taylor and Shaw in July 2002.
Rupa deals mainly with residential property work, which includes acting for private clients in leasehold and freehold acquisitions, refinancing and lease variations. She also deals with new build acquisitions and acts for landlords who wish to grant licences to assign or alter.
Rupa’s clients value her calm approach and ability to deal with matters in an effective and efficient manner.
Relevant experience
Rupa has experience in dealing with both investors, who have property portfolios and individuals who are buying a property to live in and has acted on the purchase of existing leases and the grant of new ones.
She also has experience in acting for lenders in both purchase and refinance transactions and acting for Landlord’s to grant or vary leases, or to issue licences to assign or alter a leasehold property.
Most recently she has exchanged contracts on a new build property in Dorset, which will be a holiday home for her client and she has just started work on the purchase of a Grade 11 listed building on the Kent Coast, which will also be a holiday home for her client.
